WE HAVE THE UNIVERISITY OF CHICAGO, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, AND THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO IN ILLINOIS. CWA Local 4216 currently represents Telephone Operators, Technical Specialist, Provisioning Specialist, Technical Associates, and Administrative Associates, who work for Southwestern Bell Communications. We also represent Staff Associates, Customer Service Representatives, Customer Service Specialist and Account Representatives (National Sales) who work for Ameritech Advertising.
Our purpose as a Labor Organization is to insure that our members get the best representation regarding their benefits, working environment, quality of work life and wages that are possible.
Our Local interacts with our members regarding political, medical, educational and current event issues that have a direct impact on their quality of life.
